How much do I need for a down payment on a home?

What's included in my monthly mortgage payment?

What is a 2-1 buydown, and how does it work?

In the first year, your rate is reduced by 2%, and in the second year, it's reduced by 1%. After that, your rate adjusts to the original agreed-upon rate for the remainder of the loan.
